Since the 1970s!

‘Gilders’ was first established in Kurnell, NSW , in 1979.  In the early days the business only had one rigid truck. The main business was the transportation of air conditioners for a common household name ‘DAIKIN’.

Gilders’ vision was to provide service and value that was second to none to their first client Daikin and all future clients, and that one day they would have a family business that they could pass on from generation to generation.

This vision was realized when their son joined the family business in 1995. Sadly in 2012, Mr Gilder passed away but his legacy lives on with his son stepping into his footsteps and taking the reigns together with his mother. Over the past 40+ years, Gilders Transport & Logistics Pty Ltd has grown and developed into a successful family business, servicing clients not only in the air conditioning industry but also across a wide variety of industries with both their local and interstate transport needs.

Today, we employ more than 60 staff and have over 60 vehicles, a modern fleet that ranges from utility vehicles, rigid trucks to prime movers & trailers.  We are represented with our own depots in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne as well as share depot services in Adelaide and Perth.
